People Leave Their Managers, Not Their Jobs

Posted by Kristin Baird

For years I’ve heard that employees leave their managers, not the organization. This adage was confirmed as a reality when I conducted interviews with CNOS across the country to learn the cause and effects of nurse turnover.

The truth is that the lack of leadership skills is at the core of nurse dissatisfaction. Sure, there are other factors, but as we drill down, it comes down to leadership.

Join me tomorrow for a complete review of the latest research on nurse turnover. And how it affects the patient experience and team culture.

I’ll share insights on what CNOs identify as causes, impact and solutions. See you tomorrow.
