Coach

Cheryl is an experienced coach helping established and emerging healthcare leaders. Her coaching skills are founded in years of clinical practice as an RN, several senior executive positions including VP of Operations, and as a serial entrepreneur in the healthcare space. As a clinician, she has worked in various settings, including the ED, Critical Care, and Homecare. Living and working overseas for 15 years has made her critically attuned to cultural diversity.

Cheryl has always been interested in how things can be improved, done differently, and how teams can learn to work together more effectively. It is through her over 20 years in healthcare and specifically after managing physicians and working in start-up companies that she became interested in coaching. Working with individuals and groups to identify the issues that hold them back, she partners in a non-judgmental manner to facilitate movement forward. ‘We can’t change people around us, but we can change ourselves’.

Cheryl earned her BSN from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. She completed over 200 hours of coach training from CTI earning accreditation as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC). Currently, she is pursuing certification in Positive Intelligence. She is also certified by the ICF (International Coaching Federation) as a Professional Certified Coach (PCC).
